Browns' Josh Gordon Set To Return, Opens Up About Drug Abuse

By Vincent FrankOriginal Source: forbes.comAfter being granted conditional reinstatement by the National Football League, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon reported to the team Tuesday, November 7.It's been a long and drawn out process for a player in Gordon who led the NFL in receiving back in 2013.He has not played in a game since 2014, finding himself suspended multiple times for violating the league's substance abuse policy.For their part, the winless Browns expect to welcome a now sober Gordon back into the mix.

"We've been informed of the league's decision to reinstate Josh, "Browns VP Sashi Brown said earlier in November. "The personal well-being of all our players is of the utmost importance to us."

The hope here is certainly that the 26-year-old Gordon can remain clean off the field while serving as another successful story around the NFL.
