Initially, I was resistant to Soberlink because it felt unnecessary to ME in my recovery, and in all honesty, it felt like more of an accountability tool for friends/family. Ultimately, it impacted my recovery journey in ways I had never anticipated (accountability for me, consistency because of the routine of it, a huge source of helping me gain trust back with friends/my SO/family). So when I started acknowledging the positive impact it was indirectly having on me, the tedious parts of it (taking it with me everywhere, trying to accommodate it while traveling internationally, scheduling things around the test times, etc) started to feel like less of a burden.
