Splitting parenting time for my 1-year-old and 3-year-old felt incredibly scary, given the history of alcohol misuse. I was so grateful that we agreed for both my ex and I to do Soberlink as a safety net to rebuild trust that the divorce had really shaken. It has provided me with proof that we are both maintaining sobriety during our respective parenting time, which is a big relief. It's helpful that the device is so small and quick- I had been worried about how I would feel carting it around with me. I put an AirTag on it so I could keep track of it and some cute stickers on the case to keep a sense of humor about it. It's easy enough to duck into the car or the bathroom for a quick test whenever I need to. Surprisingly, a year of using it has actually gone by really fast.
