In a recent study published in the journal “Drug and Alcohol Dependence” by researchers from the Harvard Medical School (HMS) and Recovery Research Institute and Center for Addiction Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) it was found that many adults in recovery from drugs and alcohol still experienced both “micro” and “macro” forms of discrimination as they navigate their life in recovery.
