WASHINGTON (SBG) — A legendary soldier who fought in one of this country’s most iconic battles — known to many as Black Hawk Down — is now engaged in a war to defeat opioid abuse among veterans.
On the morning of Oct 3, 1993, then-U.S Army Master Sergeant Norm Hooten was a team leader going in on the assault force in Mogadishu, Somalia.
